Actually, that’s kind of ridiculous—I won’t make you guess.
So, for anyone who has not been listening to me yammer on incessantly for months, it is Space Between Day!
And to celebrate, I went out this morning and signed some books at my favorite local bookstore, the Tattered Cover . (Colfax location, for anyone who’s in the area and interested in snagging a copy.)
Also, D documented the event for posterity, so here I am signing copies with a vague, slightly worried look that has nothing to do with my feelings (elated) and everything to do with my Thinking Face looking kind of similar to other people’s Oh, Is it Monday Already? Face.
See? It is proven! The Space Between has gone out into the world. And now, I am here on my couch, just smiling, smiling, smiling!

You know, this is actually a post I’ve been thinking about for some time, because I revise really, really aggressively. Like, with a machete, so what I have to say might not work for everyone, but at least it will give hope to all the people who look at their first drafts and wonder how they can ever turn them into something salvageable. Because trust me, mine never look salvageable :D

My publisher actually moved the release date a few months ago, but there has been Some Confusion. So, some stores had it out yesterday, and some were holding it for today. Now though, it’s out everywhere in the US!
Somehow the copy I ordered came in early and I read it over the weekend and it is MAGNIFICENT and I am so happy for you!

I bought The Replacement last year as a Christmas gift to myself and I’m so excited to have The Space Between for this year.
It’s hard to get really excited about the holiday unless there’s something super cool under the tree….so eeeeeeeee!

so happy and excited for you. i just got my copy of THE SPACE BETWEEN in the post today and im super excited to start reading! the embossing is sooooo beautiful. THE REPLACEMENT was my favourite book of last year, and im thinking THE SPACE BETWEEN will be this years!!!
